The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program allows those who have never tried it to safely experience the same sense of wonder and excitement shared every day by scuba divers throughout the world. Under the careful supervision of a PADI Instructor, participants actually go on a scuba dive in shallow, calm water.

Emergency First Response - 155 US$

Look for the Medic First Aid code for stores teaching first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Many divers take the Emergency First Response courses to meet program prerequisites, such as PADI Rescue Diver, or as preparation for becoming a PADI Divemaster. However, most have also found the EFR program to be important in everyday life. They have taken a significant step into preparation for emergencies, and feel confident that they can provide care should an emergency situation arise.

Program Description

  • Teaches CPR and first aid in an integrated system as used by EMTs, but at a layperson's level
  • Nondiving specific - nondivers may take Medic First Aid

PADI Specialty Courses

Program Description

  • Two to four Specialty Dives (varies)
